Information

House rules

The rules for staying at Chalet Bledule, Roprachtice 252. By paying for your stay, you confirm that you have read them.

Guests are obliged to follow these house rules. If they breach them in an unacceptable way, the host has the right to terminate the agreement. By paying for the stay, guests declare that they have read these operating and house rules and will fully respect them.

On arrival, all guests show a valid identity document and are entered in the Register of Guests (the Register), which contains:

  • first name and surname
  • date of birth
  • identity document number
  • place of residence

For children who do not have an identity card, the health insurance card is used. Based on the Register, guests undertake to pay the local accommodation fee, set by the municipality of Roprachtice, no later than on the day of arrival. The host will issue a receipt for the payment. Guests' personal data are used only for the records needed to pay the accommodation fees to the municipality of Roprachtice and are not processed any further.

At their discretion, the host may ask the guests to sign a handover protocol. It is signed by the guests' legally responsible representative, who thereby confirms the guests' agreement with the house rules on their behalf. If guests find a defect in the building, they must tell the owner, so that they are not held responsible for it at the end of the stay.

Personal data

Under Act No. 565/1990 Coll., we are required to keep a list of accommodated guests in order to pay local fees to the municipality of Roprachtice. All records are processed by the host only. Only an officer of the municipality or of the tax office may have access to them. If a guest does not agree with their personal data being kept for longer, they can ask by e-mail for it to be deleted after the strictly necessary period, i.e. after 15 July or 15 January, or 120 months after the end of the fiscal year in which the guest was registered for invoicing.

Unregistered guests, pets, smoking and appliances

Guests use the building for the period agreed with the host. The rented building may only be used by people who have paid for the stay and whose documents are entered in the Register. Guests may receive visitors in the building only with the host's express consent. If a person not listed in the Register or a pet is found in the building, the host is entitled to end the stay of the whole group immediately and without compensation.

Smoking and touching the heat pump and the water heater are strictly forbidden throughout the building. Smoking is allowed only at the fire pit in front of the building.

Please do not throw sanitary products, wet wipes, oil or aggressive chlorine cleaners such as SAVO into the toilet. Such waste kills the living organisms in the septic tank. Used oil goes into the container provided.

The landlord reserves the right to enter the building during the stay to check that the house rules are being observed. If the house rules are breached in any way, there is in no case any right to a refund of payment for unused services.

Accommodation

Accommodation is possible after a proper booking of the dates (confirmed by the host), payment of the full amount to the host's account and payment of a refundable deposit of CZK 5,000 on the day the building is handed over. By paying for the stay to the host's account, guests confirm that they have read the house rules and undertake to follow them.

Check-in is on the day of arrival between 4 and 5 pm; on the day of departure the building must be vacated by 10 am. Arrival or departure times can only be changed by prior agreement with the host. If a guest does not vacate the accommodation without prior agreement, the host may charge the price of one more night. If the stay is ended early, the amount paid for it is not refunded.

Guests are fully responsible for their children.

Guests must change into indoor shoes they bring with them, keep all rooms and the surroundings of the building clean and tidy throughout the stay (cleaning equipment is provided in the accommodation) and hand the building over, including its contents, in the same condition in which they received it. When leaving the building, guests must secure it against intruders and against sudden rain, i.e. close all windows and doors.

On the day of departure, guests must give the building a general routine clean, strip the beds, take the rubbish out in the bags provided to the place the host has designated, wash the dishes, clean the fridge and hand the building back to the host. Waste is sorted into glass, plastic, (clean) paper and mixed waste.

The host does not clear snow. In winter, for your own safety, do not stay in places where snow may slide off the roof!

Stoves, grilling and open fires

By paying for the stay to the host's account, guests also confirm that they have read the rules for heating with the stoves and undertake to follow them. Guests follow them in their own interest — using the stoves against the rules may make them explode. The stove is lit once a day with the prepared batch of split wood. Do not put anything on the wood-burning stove. Do not remove the ash from the firebox.

Small fires for roasting, grilling and cooking in the kettle are allowed only at the fire pit in front of the chalet. The kettle and its accessories are returned clean at the end of the stay, in the condition in which they were handed over — if they are not cleaned, a fee of CZK 500 is charged. The fire pit may only be left once the fire is completely out.

When using the gas grill, always close the burner knob and the valve on the gas bottle after grilling. The grill must also be returned in its original condition after use. If it is not cleaned, a fee of CZK 700 is charged.

The terrace and the hot tub

Guests undertake to respect quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am and to avoid anything that would unduly disturb the neighbourhood, offend common decency or break the night-time quiet.

The hot tub may be used in line with the host's instructions. It is meant for a maximum of 5 adults. The tub's stove is heated with the firewood provided, so that the water reaches no more than 37 °C. The tub stove's firebox does not need to be cleaned of ash. For your own safety, leave the terrace only once the tub's fire is completely out. Once the tub is filled, it is best to have the filtration switched on. In summer, the water in the shower can get very hot, so remember to set it with the mixing valve. In winter, the filtration is switched off.

Storing bikes and skis

The shed behind the building is for storing bikes, skis, bike racks and pushchairs. We recommend cleaning the snow off skis outside, or letting any snow stuck to them melt in the sun before putting them away. Bikes, bike racks, pushchairs and similar items must not be left inside the chalet, i.e. in the living areas.

Damage

Damage caused to the building is paid for on the basis of the host's written request, by transfer to the host's account within the period stated in the request. The host accepts no liability for damage to or theft of the guests' belongings.

Any defects found must be reported to the host immediately. Guests are liable for damage caused to the building under the Civil Code and other applicable regulations.

Fire safety

Before leaving the building, remember to switch off all electrical appliances. In case of fire, we recommend switching off the main circuit breaker, which is next to the front door on the right (as you face the door), and using the fire extinguisher in the utility room. If hot oil catches fire in the kitchen, put it out by covering it with a lid or a cloth (to cut off the oxygen).

Dear guests

We want to make your stay at Bledule pleasant, so we do not charge anything extra for bed linen, towels, the sauna, the hot tub, cleaning, energy or firewood. We trust, though, that you will use everything provided sensibly and without needless waste.

Each room has a sensor with a module set to a temperature suited to the season. We do not recommend changing it much — it would unsettle the heating system.

If you need anything, just ask — we are happy to recommend trips, restaurants and more. We wish all our guests a lovely stay, a wonderful holiday and plenty of great memories.

Petra and Jozef
