The area
Roprachtice sits between two mountain ranges
Ski slopes within twenty minutes, cross-country trails from the door, mushrooms in the forest above the chalet and hikes into the Krkonoše and the Jizera Mountains.

Slopes within twenty minutes, cross-country from the door
The countryside around Roprachtice is laced with groomed cross-country trails. Well-known ski resorts — Rokytnice, Mísečky, Benecko, Šachty, Herlíkovice and others — are 10 to 20 minutes away. The village lies on the border between the Jizera Mountains and the Krkonoše, so both ranges are within reach.
When the snow is good, the meadow right next to the chalet has the perfect gradient for sledging and tobogganing. Most of the cross-country trails run past the Borovice lookout tower, and in good conditions you can join them straight from the door.
We are keen ski tourers ourselves and are happy to point you to routes worth the effort.
Walking and cycling
Marked trails start at the chalet
There is plenty to walk to, and marked hiking and cycling trails pass right by the house. We are happy to lend you a bike — just say so in advance.
The village has a new nature trail for children, „Vlček, který nekouše" (The wolf that doesn't bite), for anyone who wants to learn something about the history of the village and the countryside around it.
The meadows around Bledule were used as a location for the Czech film Krakonoš a lyžníci, and the village church of the Holy Trinity and its rectory appear in Zapomenuté světlo.

Doing nothing
The chalet is built for it
There is no shortage of places for it: the sauna, the hot tub, the deep sofa facing the big window, the mattress under the window — and the bench on top of the warm stove, which has the best view in the house.
The chalet sits in the countryside on a quiet spot, with privacy on the terrace where you can take an afternoon nap on the loungers. In front of the house there is seating around the fire pit.
